I very much appreciate Dr. Elfrink and her patience to do what's right for the patient. The night I am specifically referencing, she was literally non-stop between triages, deliveries, and the needs of one specific mom. She always ensured she put the wants/needs of the patient first and never rushed her. Dr. Elfrink pivoted and changed the plan of care as needed. She was amazing.

We were called to the Outpatient Lab to assist in a venipuncture for a 1 month. We don’t get called to do these very often and know they can be difficult. We tried at least 3 times, and by the time we were finished, both mom and baby were in tears. We asked Claudia if a venous sample had to be drawn and she promptly when to find out. After a short time, she returned with the good news that would could do a capillary stick. I want to recognize Claudia for going above and beyond for this family. She took the time to call the lab in California which was definitely worth it to that mom and baby.
